The past eighteen months have been pretty insane. This page has been gathering dust while Real Life occupied all my attention. To those who commented during my absence, I'm sorry I was not around to answer you.

All art in this gallery is protected by copyright. Some is offered on a Creative Commons attributable license for personal, non-profit use - the deviation page will have this information. If a particular work does not have a Creative Commons license, then it's that way for a reason.

Well, I did not get much done last year on the art front.

This year though, I have many plans. Some of them even involve painting.

My old laptop is in pieces, and I have just unpacked a new monitor. The first monitor I have owned for, ouch, lots of years. But it is pre calibrated and built for arts!

And I am collaborating with other artists and writers on a cool book project. Whee!

I love unusual things, and dA is a great place for exploring diversity.

As it's terribly easy to stick a horn on a white horse and call it a unicorn, this fantasy mainstay has suffered a huge drop in diversity. Where dragons go from strength to strength, developing new forms all the time as artists explore the possibilities, unicorns have become a bit rote, even... boring.  But dig a little deeper, and you'll find artists who embrace the older, pre-Hollywood unicorn, and even invent new species to marvel at.

I know some fantastic designs I'd love to see adorning people's fondle-slabs, and there are prizes as well as royalties!

But the closing date is the end of August, so you'll need to get your skates on.

Nothing much to say, I guess. Just bored of seeing the old journal entry.

I'm thinking about selling off some of my originals and wanted to see if there was any interest in that sort of thing.  

I might even start offering commission slots *gasp!*
